Third annual National Night Out Against Crime
It will be a great time to meet your neighbors and see old friends
We will have our local deputies onsite along with McGruff “The Crime Dog”
and Darin “The Lion”.
We will also have representatives from the Virginia State Police,
the Hanover County Sheriff’s Department,
local Fire and EMS, Law Enforcement
Explorers Post 606 and the Hanover County Canine Search Unit
. We will be serving free hot dogs, chips, watermelon and drinks.
There will be games for everyone including a water balloon toss,
darts, basketball, football and baseball throw and more.
We will also have other contests that will challenge all
– a donut eating contest, watermelon seed spitting contest,
and a pie judging contest (bake your best pie and let us be the judge).
You will also have an opportunity to meet the current candidates
for Honorary Mayor of Beaverdam.
