Covering 19 counties/cities in Central-Eastern Virginia, the Chesapeake District currently has 50 clubs and just under 1800 members.   The District Cabinet meets quarterly to review the efforts of the District as a whole.  Clubs work independently throughout the year upon a variety of service and fundraising activities.  The whole District gathers once a year at the District Convention usually held in November.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!  In 2007 and with only 75% of the clubs reporting there results, the Chesapeake District Ruritans contributed over $592,000 and 83,000 hours of service to their communities.
